Tonight I got Super Mooned out my nut. Had a great wee shoot at Firkin Point Loch Lomond with my friends Dawn Lee and Suzanne Galloway.
Did anyone else go super mooning
Yesterday was a full on day and a wee bit on the random side. my day started off being in college, then I photographed a cage fighter, then an adorable little 8 year old girl who is about to do her first holy communion and ended the day on the banks of Loch Lomond at Luss taking long exposures, all in all it was a grand day.
What did you get up to?
Late Night or Early Morning
It was 2am when my friend Dawn arrived at mine and we gathered our things made piping hot horlicks and headed out to take some photographs, we swung by the forth road rail bridge only for them to turn the lights off on it just as we stopped the car, not to worry we still shot away, then headed to Blackness castle, onto Kinniel House and then to Callandar House, not happy and content with that being enough we strolled into college at 9.30am, but sleep was nipping at out tails, so we headed home at lunch time and once back in my flat I fell into a glorious slumber.
I had a great time hanging out with my friend and taking photies along the way.
Wee part of my trip to Berlin with my college buddies last week, awesome time was had by all
BERLIN
Just spent five days in Berlin with my adorable little college buddies, that main purpose for us visiting this wondrous city was to take architectural photographs, and that we did, the image above is one of my favourites that I took. There are many more, but I can’t deal that amount of photo watching at the one time on any of you.
I will return to Berlin and wander those streets again.
KNOW WHAT I MEAN HARRY
I was asked to go along to a charity event at the Hilton in Glasgow, to film a sportsman’s dinner in aid of Erskine Hospital. The guest of honour being none other than the great Frank Bruno, This giant of a man was such a gentleman and very amusing indeed, for all day I had been saying to myself, “Maria, do not say the words, Know what I mean Harry”. Over and over, so I had it in my head not to utter the words that this man has probably hears a million times before.
So there I was all ready to rock and roll, I decided to go back into the little room where mine and my fellow photographer Robert’s gear was located, and as I neared the door I heard those rich bassy tones of Frank’s voice, I went in and he was sitting at the end of the table signing boxing gloves, I picked up my batteries, turned to Frank and asked if he minded me filming him, he was happy to let me do so, he asked my name and I told him, he grinned and said he would like to call me Miss Bailey, we laughed and I said that’s cool I want to call you Dave, he chortled and said you can call me Harry if you like, did he know my little secret chant of not mentioning Harry, who knows, probably not, but the moment was there and it made me giggle.
So that’s me and Frank sharing a great big cuddle, it was a pleasure to meet him, real nice guy.
Random Sightings
Today I took my three hounds a walk down by the river and almost peed myself when I came across this sight, seems someone is setting up home down there, they even have their own wind sock…oh and that’s not a white stegosaurus in the picture thats Holly one of my dogs.
What’s the weirdest thing you’ve seen this week?
This is Bobby, he is the charming young man I had the pleasure of hanging out with and shooting today, granted the shoot was mean to be on location, but seeing as the weather here is a tad pants, we opted for a wee studio shoot in Glasgow instead, and a jolly good time was had indeed, then a wee shooftie round to the pub for refreshments, I was on soft drinks as usual :)
